Shout out to my best friend, Delilah P. Strickland! She just completed Law School! I will be getting my friend back in just a few weeks once she takes the bar exam!

Her only request was that I be there to do her makeup and lashes. Go figure :-)

Demonstrating how to mix Heat at The Makeup Show New York

I have worked at almost every single makeup show for FACE atelier since 2008 so they are my makeup family - well real family know what I mean. I have fallen in love with the line for several reasons. FACE atelier is known for their foundations, but they have so many products that I use daily in my kit.

I answer many emails regarding the best shades of foundation to order. I am always happy to help, but for makeup artists wanting to try FACE atelier, the 7 shades that I highly suggest to try first are listed below.

At The Makeup Show in New York, FACE atelier had an awesome deal for any 7 shades for a set price. These are the shades that I continuously sold.

2 - Ivory
7 - Tan
10 - Cocoa
Heat (used to warm up any of the shades in the line, also can be used as a liquid blush)

The above selection would allow you to match any shade. Some artists chose not to do 0- or 0++ depending on their clientele. Shades 5-Sepia, 9-Toffee, and 11-Mink were also popular.

I use on a consistent basis 2(go through it like water), 5, 7, 10, 11. Like most artists I am a custom application type of person, but I use these shades straight out the bottle on the regular.

I hope this helps those that would like to get into the world of FACE atelier. Other must have products are:

Facade - liquid to powder blush
Lip Glazes - lip glosses
Ultra Matte Spray - the coolest mattifier spray on the planet that doesn't build up
Transforming Gel - transform anything into a water resistant finish
Camo Duets - amazing concealer that stays put

Of course, I use other products in my kit, but FACE atelier has become a staple. I have met many artists through the years at the booth! It is always amazing when artists email or call thanking me for introducing them to FACE atelier!

If you need help with mixing the manipulators (0-, 0+, 0++, Heat), let me know!

Stay Beautiful!

Back in February, I hosted another seminar called, Tackling Beauty in the New Year in Detroit, Michigan! Milani Cosmetics and Dermalogica were the sponsors for this fabulous seminar held at the Historic McDonnell House in Southfield, Michigan (If you need a location to hold an intimate event in Southeastern Michigan, I highly suggest them).

My main concern as an artist is to address the beauty needs of all women. This seminar provided a comfortable setting for women to discuss their beauty and skincare issues.

Check out this awesome video put together by The ARTchiTECHs that show some highlights from the seminar.

Be sure to subscribe to my Brandalyn Fulton Youtube Channel! You will be glad you did ;-)
